Jimsonweed is typically harvested in late summer or early fall when the plant is in full bloom. Harvesting should be done carefully, wearing gloves and protective clothing, as the plant is toxic and can cause skin irritation. It is best to harvest Jimsonweed during dry weather to minimize the risk of mold or rot. **
